As parents you may wonder should I take my kids with me while on vacations or leave them? Or for how long? Sometimes you can go on a trip and feel like your kids are missing out or feel guilty. As parents, there's no right or wrong answer because its totally up to you, your stituaition, your lifestyle, where you're going and for how long. However, as new parents a vacation is a great idea to take after they are born to relief stress. Here are some tips for balancing vacations with or without kids.
TAKE FAMILY TIME TRIPS - short & fun -consider drive-able locations (places that requires no passports) EXAMPLE: Cruises -consider All-inclusive plan (kids like to be entertained and eat) -factor flight prices -affordable (save in advance/put a vacation on layaway) -plan ahead check school calendar and absent policy -book a property with alot of space (Vacation rental homes are perfect) TAKE BAECATION/COUPLES REKINDLEMENT TRIPS (kid-free) -leave the kids with a family member or family friend -short quick getaway (sometimes a quick vacay is better than nothing) -don't prolong or put it off -be spontanceous -consider a staycation if you can't get out of town (a simple change of scenery) -gives you time to relax, unwind, feel refreshed, find out your likes again and get to know your partner better -get stress free and mushie TAKE A GIRL TRIP/ GUYS TRIP/ ALL-ADULT TRIPS -for some adult time -bond with your peers -unwind and kick back (have fun) -plan as a once a year getaway GET YOUR BATTERIES RECHARGED Studies have shown that you should at least take a 10 vacation. Remember to set aside a day or 2 to unwind and to get yourself together. A vacation from a vacation is needed mentally and physically. Therefore, you will find out that it will be well worth the time-off sacrifice: -sleep better -less stress -think clearer -relaxed -keep calm -happier Share the knowledge
